Reflexology training courses - what to look for
There are a growing number of reflexology courses that claim to train reflexologists within a matter of months or even a few weekends. These types of course are OK if you just want to learn how to perform reflexology on your family and friends, but if you would like to train so that you can work as a professional reflexologist it is important to find an AOR accredited course to ensure your training meets the highest of standards.
AOR courses usually run from Sept through to June/July and involve practical examinations, a written examination covering anatomy and physiology as well as reflexology, and will also require students to complete 6 case studies, each requiring 10 hours of reflexology practice before they qualify as a reflexologist.
